THE PROCESS
fter you have sent the application form, I will visit your website briefly to decide whether or not it is accepted for initial review status. Once I have verified your basic qualifications, you will receive your own ID and you can download this NOMINEE badge.
You may use this graphic until you receive your award. You are welcome to display the NOMINEE badge but to do so is not required, nor is linking the badge to the MOON AWARD required.
- You may see the progress of the evaluation on the STATUS page.
- The evaluators will then need four to six weeks, in order to visit your web site at least four times for evaluation.
- When the evaluation period is done, you will receive the results of your evaluation. If your website is awarded with a MOON AWARD, you will receive notification by e-Mail including the award-graphic and a Laudation.
- Your web site will be shown on the winners’ page with your first name and a screen shot of your home page with a desciption. If you do not wish this, please inform me by sending a short e-Mail as soon as possible.
- If your website should not be accepted for initial review status, I will inform you of this. Do not be too disappointed. The decision to not accept your website
- for review is not directed at you personally, but is based upon your compliance with our criteria. You are invited to re-apply after 2 months, if you have modified your site to meet the criteria.
- Still another note: We aim to interact in a friendly manner and hope to deal politely with one another. As a consequence of abusive or insulting e-Mails directed at the MOON AWARD or its evaluators, I will terminate the evaluation immediately and/or will revoke an Award if one has already been given to you. Further, you will be permanently banned from applying for the MOON AWARD.
- There are no legal conditions pertaining to winning the MOON AWARD.
